Black Jaguar Foundation - Identity

The Black Jaguar Foundation (BJF) was founded in Amsterdam in 2009 in the Netherlands. Its registered name is 'Stichting Black Jaguar Foundation'.

Evolution:
At the start of the foundation in 2009, the goal was (only) to make a unique documentary about the wild black jaguar. As of 2011, a tangible contribution to protecting the natural habitat of the jaguar, preserving all plant and wildlife in its ecosystem, is our mission. With the goal, also the budget required for 2011 and 2012 has increased drastically; hence the need for sponsors, strategic partners and grants.

Identity:
BJF is a group of highly professional volunteers, who share a major concern for and commitment to the world environment, with a special passion for the Black Jaguar in its natural habitat.

The BJF is a non-profit organization with a healthy, transparent financial status with minimum overhead costs.

Goal oriented, we are committed to playing our part, working with world renowned partners, to help preserve the natural habitat of one of the world’s most iconic and rare species. We will do this by manifesting unique, courageous and above all distinctive and inspiring actions.

Key partner:
The Black Jaguar Foundation has set up strong ties with the Jaguar Conservation Fund or Fundo para a Conservação da Onça-Pintada based in Brazil.
