In the past 50 years, we caused more damage to our planet than by all previous 200.000 years of mankind. Deforestation has decreased jaguar's habitat with 65%. Only estimated 600 wild black jaguars are left. Saving and restoring jaguar habitat is symbolic to preserving the world's most vital ecosystems: The Amazon Rainforest and Cerrado Savanna. Their home is also vital to us humans - as it supplies 20% of the world's oxygen - filters 30% of all sweet water - is the source of 25% of all modern medicines.     Our team of successful professionals and suppliers contribute their time and equipment free of charge or work at charitable rates. Still we need your participation and donations to complement the budget of our conservation projects. With only 1 euro you become Green Member. Goal of the Black Jaguar Foundation   What's in it for you?

The Black Jaguar Foundation (BJF) is a non-profit organization with the black jaguar as symbol for the alarming condition of all the Amazon rainforest and Cerrado savanna. Our goal is a tangible contribution to preserving and restoring the natural habitat of the jaguar.  BJF's main project: the ‘Araguaia Biodiversity Corridor’ in Central Brazil. Thousands of species will benefit, including ourselves. Tens of millions of trees will be reforested. This 2,600 km long corridor will become the longest of its kind in the world!
